After two matches without a victory and generally bit poorer performances, players of Vallecano managed to bounce back to winning ways with a narrow 1:0 victory last Saturday evening when they visited Albacete.
The game itself wasn’t that interesting, but should be said that the guests have fully deserved that three pointer. They were better from early phase, having much more of the ball possession and slowly increasing the pressure.
Finally, they broke the defensive line of Albacete in 86th minute via De Tomas, leaving home team without much time to respond. Must be said, that the hosts were limited to a passive role even once they were a goal down.
Vallecano is now sharing the first position together with Gijon and having just two points less than third and out of direct position placed Huesca which means that the victory here is their priority.
Team captain and central defender Antonio Amaya (16/1) remains out due injury.
Zaragoza, on the other side, managed to take very important three pointer last Saturday evening when the team welcomed Huesca another promotion race inolved side. First halftime wasn’t that interesting, with Huesca having bit more of the ball possession, but the hosts looked more concrete.
Things got much more interesting once Ros brought the hosts into the lead in 57th minute. Huesca had wast majority of the ball possession from that moment on, while the home team continued being more threatening via counter attacks but without further scoreline change.
Zaragoza is now inside the play-off zone having six points less than direct promotion placed duo, but also having just two more than out of play-off placed side Granada.
Central back Diogo Verdasca (23/0) is suspended for this game.

Both teams enter this match with a target to get a positive result, since a point can’t satisfy neither of them. Vallecano is a favorite, but they haven’t been up to the task this season especially when speaking about their defensive lineup.
No matter how the game goes, Zaragoza should be really threatening as well – especially since they play really well on counter attacks. Both teams to score and over goals seems like the most appropriate choice and I believe it does have decent value this time.
